Diagnostics

How long does a diagnostic take?

Diagnostics takes minutes and includes a full hardware and software assessment to identify faults, performance limitations, 

and upgrade opportunities. ​

Is diagnostics really free?

Yes, we come to your home or office and run the diagnostic checks. The service is free if you go ahead with the repair or your machine is irreparable. In all other cases a fixed fee of £95 is payable.

Repairs and Upgrades

Is my data safe and secure during repair or upgrade?

Yes. Data integrity is at the core of every job. Your files are preserved and remain secure and confidential throughout the process. All machines are returned with data intact unless you specify otherwise.​​

How long does a repair usually take?

Turnaround depends on the issue and parts required. Many repairs are completed quickly, with more complex upgrades or rebuilds scheduled efficiently after diagnosis.​

Unofficial macOS upgrades and Windows 11

Can you upgrade unsupported Macs?

Yes. Subject to a pre-flight hardware check, we bring  back support for your Mac by installing an OS release that goes beyond what Apple officially offers for your model.

Can I run Windows on my Mac?

If yours is a 2102-2019 Intel model, yes. Windows 10 support is enabled natively utilising Boot Camp. However we can take that further by installing fully supported Windows 11 which restores

official support and security updates.
